This is a dance drama for which I was in charge of sound design and music. I engaged in extensive communication with the director, who is also a dancer, and together, we experimented with various sound elements. Utilising sound recordings capturing the unique atmosphere of Beijing's local life, electronic music, and ethnic music, we aimed to portray the narrative of life's conception, birth, growth, struggles, and, in the final stage, the moments of lingering and attempting.

The production made it to the finals of the Wuzhen Theatre Festival, becoming one of the most anticipated physical performances. It sparked extensive discussions in the industry and media, and it has now evolved into an independent intellectual property (IP), receiving special invitations to various theater events such as the Hangzhou Theatre Festival, the Beijing Nanyang Shared International Artist Salon, and the Tsinghua Philosophy Theatre Festival.

The provided music segment is from the sixth act of the dance drama. Before this, the dancers had
depicted life's journey, from conception and development to collisions and struggles. In this musical segment, they are required to convey a sense of lamentation as life approaches its end, transcend the limitations of the physical body, and ultimately give birth to new life.
